In this month’s blog post, Gary chats with Matt McWilliams, owner of Tulsa Kwik Dry. He shares a bit about how our partnership has helped them create a solid business structure to get started on the right foot.

Gary: Tell us a little about your organization.

Matt: We’re a locally owned Total Cleaning Company. We clean carpet, tile and grout, upholstery, mattresses, air ducts, dryer vents and we also do sandless wood floor refinishing! We use all-natural products that are safe for families and the environment. 

Gary: How long have you been in business?

Matt: Kwik Dry has been around since 2008 but the Tulsa location has only been here since January.

Gary: What inspired you to start this organization?

Matt: A desire to own a local business in the home services vertical that could serve local customers and benefit the community. 

Gary: It’s been said that smart people learn from their mistakes and wise people learn from the mistakes of others. What have you learned along the way and how can others learn from your experience?

Matt: My goal is to treat others how I want to be treated. We strive to do our best on every job. I’ve seen people who don’t take this approach and how it always catches up to them eventually. I want to make sure that we take great care of people and I know that they will take care of us. Our reviews have reflected that to this point.

Gary: What has been most inspiring to you?

Matt: I’ve been inspired by the show of support from friends and family as we have started this venture. On good and bad days it’s great to know that people are rooting for you to succeed and want to see you grow as a person and company. 

Gary: How has our law firm helped you implement your business plan?

Matt: Gary has helped us create our business structure and get started on the right foot. I’m so appreciative of the care and attention he has taken. I feel confident that all of our legal matters are in order and we can focus on what we do well which is cleaning.
